Today was a good day. When I woke up, we were getting ready to head to Washington, D.C. — it was only about a one-hour drive away. Once we arrived, we started at Union Station, and then we visited the Library of Congress, which is the biggest library in the world. After that, we swung by the Washington Monument, though we only stayed for a few minutes before heading back.
Getting back to Union Station turned into a little adventure. We had to catch a taxi the old-fashioned way — by waving one down on the street — because we didn’t have a taxi app on our phones, and there was no internet connection either. That meant we couldn’t even ask an AI like ChatGPT for help! Walking would have taken about 40 minutes, which felt way too far since we were all completely exhausted. Luckily, we finally caught a taxi and made it back to Union Station.
Then came the one-hour drive home. Even though it had been such a long day, I still wanted to keep up my streak of going to the skate park every single day. So off to the skate park I went! I played on my skateboard, and I even got to teach some people how to skateboard, which felt pretty cool — going from learner to teacher!
After that, we went home, where my brother managed to spill ranch and ketchup all over himself. Classic Henry! After that, we went to bed. And that’s all — the end of a very full day.

回 Union Station 的路，变成了一场小小的冒险。我们只能用最老派的办法拦出租车——站在街边招手——因为我们手机上没有打车软件，而且连网络都没有。这就意味着，我们连问一问 ChatGPT 之类的 AI 都做不到！要是走路回去，大概得 40 分钟，可我们全都累瘫了，实在觉得太远。还好，我们终于拦到了一辆出租车，顺利回到了 Union Station。
接着就是一小时的车程回家。虽然今天已经这么漫长了，我还是想守住我”每天都去滑板场”的纪录。于是我又出发去滑板场啦！我玩着我的滑板，甚至还教了几个人怎么玩滑板，感觉特别酷——从学滑板的人变成了教滑板的人！
之后，我们回了家，结果我弟弟把田园酱和番茄酱洒了自己一身。经典的 Henry！之后，我们就上床睡觉了。就是这样——超充实的一天，到此结束。
