Today is Sunday. First thing in the morning, we did some math to get it out of the way. After that, we went to a skate park nearby — it was even closer than my favorite one, but honestly, I didn’t really like it. It had this 8-foot-long ramp thing, and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get back out of it, so it made me a little nervous.
So instead, we headed over to my favorite skateboard park, and this time I played for a whole four hours! We also stopped by the science center to grab some food. After skating around some more, we got on a paddle boat, which was awesome. We paddled near a submarine, but we had to stay inside a white line — that was the boundary, so we couldn’t paddle past it.
After that, we went back to the car and headed off to wash our clothes. While we were out, we ordered a large pizza — half pepperoni and half mushroom, the perfect combo. Then we finally went home.
That’s when the firefly adventure happened. I caught a firefly and was just about to release it, but then the container slipped onto my hand, and the napkin I’d been using as a little plug fell out. Just like that, the firefly escaped, and I couldn’t find it again — not ever! It was a bummer, but at least I got to see it up close for a little while. After all that excitement, I took a nice relaxing bath, and then I went to sleep. What a full, fun Sunday.
今天是周日。一大早，我们先做了点数学，把它解决掉。之后，我们去了附近的一个滑板场——它比我最喜欢的那个还要近，但说实话，我不太喜欢它。它有一个大约 8 英尺长的坡道，我不太确定自己能不能从里面滑出来，所以让我有点紧张。
于是，我们改去了我最爱的滑板公园，而这一次，我整整玩了四个小时！我们还顺路去科学中心吃了点东西。又滑了一会儿之后，我们坐上了一艘脚踏船，太棒了。我们划到了一艘潜艇附近，但我们得待在一条白线以内——那是界线，所以我们不能划出去、越过它。
之后，我们回到车上，动身去洗衣服。趁着在外面，我们点了一个大披萨——一半意式辣肠、一半蘑菇，堪称完美搭配。然后我们才终于回家。
就在这时，萤火虫的小插曲发生了。我抓到了一只萤火虫，正要放它走，结果容器一下子滑到了我手上，我一直用来当塞子的那张餐巾纸也掉了出来。就这么一下，萤火虫溜走了，我再也没能找到它——再也没有！这确实挺让人失望的，但至少我能近距离看了它一会儿。折腾完这一切，我舒舒服服地泡了个澡，然后就去睡觉了。多么充实、多么好玩的一个周日啊。
