A Finished Toolbox and a Little Race 做好工具箱，来场小比赛

Today I had a really fun day at the Urban Workshop. First, we finished making our toolboxes, and we even got to do laser engraving, which was totally awesome. Watching the laser carve a design right into the wood was so cool. By the time we wrapped up the engraving, it was already noon — the time passed so fast that I could hardly believe it!

After that, we did a little race where we had to build our own race cars. I helped my friend a lot, but to be honest, I didn’t get to participate as much as I wanted. I was mostly in charge of designing one of the cars, and it turned out I didn’t have enough time to really finish it.

When it was my turn to race, things didn’t go so well. The track wasn’t very good, so my car slipped right off the side and broke when it hit the ground. I didn’t even get the chance to race my second, fancier car. My friend ended up winning second place — though funnily enough, he only got second because his car bumped into a table!

After all of that, the day came to an end — and since it was the last day of class, I felt really happy. We headed home with big smiles, and I’m so proud of everything I built during this whole workshop.
