A Fun Trip, but a Long Way Home 有趣的旅程，漫长的归途

Today was a really hard day. When we woke up, my mom told us we needed to arrive at the airport in about 7 hours. I was like, “Okay… so what are we going to do for all that time?” My mom thought about it and asked, “Is there anything left that we haven’t visited yet?” I said no — we’d pretty much seen it all. So she said, “How about this? Let’s just hang out at the house for a while, go grab some breakfast, and then head straight for the airport.” That sounded good to me, so that’s exactly what we did.

When we got to the first airport, there was basically nobody there at all — it felt almost empty. After that, we flew to a much bigger airport, and wow, it was huge. I had to walk for what felt like forever just to get from one section to another. There were three whole sections — A, B, and C — and we landed in section B but needed to get all the way to section A. It was such a long walk that we even had to hop on a train, which honestly made it way faster.

After all that, we flew for nearly three hours, which felt like a really long time. Since we’d left in the afternoon, by the time we finally made it home it was almost midnight — super late! We were all completely exhausted. My mom and I went straight to bed, and my little brother crashed too.

It was a fun trip overall, but I’ll be honest — the trip home is the one part I wouldn’t want to do all over again. Sometimes getting home is the hardest part of an adventure!
