We Finally Made It to Yellowstone 我们终于抵达黄石

Today, we finally made it to Yellowstone, but I’ll be honest — it was a really long, tiring day. First, we headed to the airport, which was absolutely bustling with people since it’s summer break. We had to lug most of our own luggage around, and that alone wore me out before we even took off.

After a two-hour flight, we landed at another airport, and this one was huge — it had three whole lanes. Seeing how big it was, I figured we’d be hopping onto an even bigger airplane for the next leg to Yellowstone. But it turned out to be the complete opposite! Instead, we boarded this tiny little plane with only two rows of seats. It looked more like a private jet than a regular airplane. I was honestly surprised, but sure enough, it was the right one.

Once we got on, we flew for another two hours, and I passed the time watching a bunch of my movies, which made the trip fly by. By the time we landed, we were all completely worn out, so we stopped at a nearby restaurant to grab some food. To my excitement, they even had Chinese food — I hadn’t eaten it in such a long time, so that really hit the spot.

Finally, we headed to our hotel, and to my surprise, it turned out to be the Old Faithful Inn — the very one I’d been hoping for all along! It’s my absolute favorite, and I liked it a lot. After such a long journey, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to rest.
