The Package Was at the Door All Along 包裹其实一直在门口

Today after lunch, we played at home, and it was a really fun time. We goofed around for a while, just enjoying our afternoon together. Then my brother realized he had an Amazon package that was supposed to be delivered, so we started keeping an eye out for it.

We waited and waited for it to show up at the front door, but it still didn’t arrive. After a long time, I finally checked the tracking, and it said the package was already at the next stop — so I figured the driver had totally skipped us! I was pretty bummed, thinking we’d have to wait even longer.

But here’s the funny part: it turned out the package had been sitting right at our front door the whole time! We had waited a solid 15 minutes for nothing. Honestly, it was a little boring just standing around, but looking back, the mix-up was kind of funny.

After all that, I was super, super hungry, so we headed to the oyster bar for dinner. The food was so good — I couldn’t even finish it all, so we packed up the leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. It was a really fun day, and I liked it a lot.
