Today after school, I was really craving some Häagen-Dazs ice cream, and it turned out to be such a fun afternoon. I brought my friend along to eat with me, and when we got there, we found a whole bunch of flavors to pick from. One of the cups was small, and honestly, I knew I couldn’t finish the big one all by myself — so I went with the small one instead.
I picked the coffee flavor because it’s the one I trust the most. I don’t really trust the other ones — they look a little weird to me, and they just don’t feel right. My friend went with chocolate, which was totally fine by me. To each their own! I stuck with my trusty coffee.
But here’s the funny part — right when I was eating mine, my mom swooped in and took a big bite of it. A second later, she got hit with a brain freeze! I couldn’t stop laughing. I guess that’s what you get when you steal someone’s ice cream and eat it too fast.
After that, we headed over to Enzo’s house to play, and we ended up buliding mount— it was a really, really fun time. We even built our own thing in his backyard: a whole mountain out of little stones. It took a while, but it was so worth it. I honestly think Enzo should turn his backyard into a tree house someday — how cool would that be?
By the time all the fun wound down, it was getting late, and my friend had to head home. So we went our separate ways, both as happy as could be. It was one of the best afternoons in a long time, and I really hope I can go back to his house again soon.
今天放学后，我特别馋哈根达斯的冰淇淋。我带着我的朋友一起去吃，到了之后，我们发现有一大堆口味可以挑。其中一杯是小份的，说实话，我知道大份的我一个人肯定吃不完——所以我就选了小份的。
我选了咖啡味，因为那是我最信得过的口味。其他几种我不太敢信——它们看着有点怪怪的，感觉就是不对劲。我朋友选了巧克力，这我完全没意见。各有各的喜好嘛！我还是守着我那靠谱的咖啡味。
但好笑的来了——我正吃着呢，我妈突然冲过来咬了一大口。结果没过一秒，她就被冰得脑仁疼了！我笑得停不下来。我猜这就是偷别人冰淇淋还吃太快的下场吧。
之后，我们就去 Enzo 家玩了，最后玩起了坦克——真的特别特别好玩。我们还在他后院搭了个我们自己的东西：用小石头堆了一整座"山"。花了好一会儿，但太值了。我真心觉得 Enzo 哪天该把他后院改成一个树屋——那得多酷啊？
等所有的欢乐都接近尾声时，天已经不早了，我朋友也得回家了。于是我们各自回家，俩人都开心得不行。这是好久以来最棒的一个下午之一，我真希望能很快再去他家玩。
